G had her follow-up appointment for her ear infection today.  Her ear infection has cleared up.  The doctor cannot believe she is consistently rolling over, back to front, at four-and-a-half months.  She also said that Gloria's abdomen is really strong for her age, and she expects her to be crawling by six months.

I'm not ready!!  First, because she's growing up too fast.  Secondly, it's really nice to plant her somewhere, say, "Ha!  You're stuck!" and go do what I need to do.  Once she's mobile any productivity around the house will be shot.

Then I get to Mike's mom's house after work to pick up Gloria, and I'm told that she has two teeth.  Grandma Germano discovered two bottom incisors poking out today.  At four-and-a-half months!  What is going on?? (Though this explains her recent issues of a leaky face and wanting to chew on everything ...)

Half of me is all, "Yeah, genius baby" and the other half is going, "Oh shit, does this mean there's something wrong with her?"  I don't know how early developmental milestones could possibly mean that something is wrong, but this is what you do when you're a parent.  You worry.  Over everything.  Oh god, maybe she's like Robin Williams in the movie Jack and she's going to look like a forty-year-old when she's eleven.  She already has his hairline, after all.
