Pre-birthday prep

Today has been a day of insane preparation for Gloria's birthday.  We're only doing a small lunch with immediate family, and there's so much to do!  Most of it involves final touches on the renovation, so I shouldn't be surprised.  But I am.  Surprised at how busy today has been, and cranky about it.

Gloria insisted on helping.  Which was actually three steps back for every one I made.
