They are mac'n'cheese with cheesy mashed potato "frosting" and bacon "sprinkles." In case you were wondering, mashed potatoes are super difficult to pipe. I'm pretty sure I got carpal tunnel from it. Store that away for future use.
I don't care if you bite into them and encounter a crunchy elbow macaroni top-layer. They look fantastic.

I made turkey meatloaf cupcakes for dinner the other night and they were super awkward, too...but strangely cute. I could live forever without piping mashed potato frosting, though. Like you said, it's not easy.
