I was out of town all weekend, watching the Lake Placid Ironman.  I have over 200 photos to sort through from that, but they are pending until I rack up enough hours of sleep to slog through them.

I came home to a finished bathroom.  I've been working on this project for a while now, but like all other projects, I started it and then lost interest.  I don't remember why.  I probably got distracted by shiny decoupage paper or circular knitting needles.  Mike took care of the rest while I was gone.  He kicks a decent amount of ass.

This is the only "before" photo that I have.  It's from the original house listing.

DRUM ROLL ....

We replaced the square, wall-flush mirror.
I have a hunch that Mike bought this toilet paper holder for two reasons. One is because it's pretty. The other is that it's an easy-loader, which will encourage me to replace the roll when it's empty...

This lovely piece is for Gloria, who frequently mistakes the toilet for her kiddie pool.
This entire project cost maybe $40.  The paint was from the mis-tint section of Home Depot.  The mirror was an old auction find that we painted cream.  The bird towel holder and the cupboard knobs were on sale at JoAnn's.

Revel in my thriftiness.

I also returned to Gloria feeding herself.  Standing up by herself.  Eating random bits of lawn by herself.

I kept taking out a few at a time, putting them on her tray, and replacing them when they were gone.  This was full.  I couldn't believe she ate so many!!

Then I took her out of her chair ...

Blueberries and drool.

Life is good.
